Group Supervision Training for Volunteer Coordinators (Newcastle)
This training is for volunteer coordinators and people managing volunteers in Newcastle.
Supporting volunteers through regular supervision is a vital part of volunteer coordination. It plays a key role in volunteer wellbeing, retention and satisfaction.
Group supervision is seen as the most effective way to provide support to volunteers in the workplace as it encourages peer support, shared learning and stronger team connections.
This in person training is designed specifically for Volunteer Coordinators working in Newcastle. It will guide you through the practical considerations of planning and delivering group supervision sessions for volunteers.
The training is written and delivered by Diane Sandford, Haref and Health Equity Manager. Diane brings several years of experience as a Volunteer Coordinator in the recovery sector and has extensive experience of running reflective groups and supervision sessions.

You can only book one place for yourself. If a colleague wants to attend, they will need to book separately themselves. This training is limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation. When you book, please ensure that you give us all the essential information requested so that we know your registration is genuine.
Our training and events are funded from a variety of sources, allowing us to offer them for free to eligible organisations. Please check the eligibility requirements for each session before signing up, as this varies from course to course.
