Funding - Developing a Strategic Approach

This online introductory session, delivered via Teams, is for you if you are new to the role of fundraising in your organisation, or have been doing this for a while but want to develop a strategy to improve your chances of success.

Through a mix of interactive presentations and activities participants will be able to:

• Identify a broader range of funding sources to create a diverse funding base
• Understand how planning ahead is crucial to success
• How best to fit fundraising into the other demands of your role
• Understand about meeting funders expectations in a funding bid

Our Support and Development team helps organisations to run successfully and make a positive difference in their communities. This training is for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and/or Gateshead.

You can only book one place for yourself. If a colleague wants to attend, they will need to book separately themselves. This training is limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation. When you book, please ensure that you give us all the essential information requested so that we know your registration is genuine.

Our training and events are funded from a variety of sources, allowing us to offer them for free to eligible organisations. Please check the eligibility requirements for each session before signing up, as this varies from course to course. If your organisation is not eligible for a free session you may be interested in one of our tailored training packages.
